On behalf of the Federation of Egyptian Insurance Companies and the organizing committee, I am delighted to welcome you to the 4th Microinsurance Conference &10th Africa Regional Conference on Inclusive Insurance AFCII 2025. This year's conference holds particular significance as it represents an exceptional example of global collaboration, being jointly hosted by the Federation in collaboration with Munich Re Foundation, FinProbity Solutions, and the Microinsurance Network. In recognition of this special occasion, the conference is being held under the theme: Improving Insurance Penetration Across Africa through Enhanced Insurance Inclusion. Africa stands at a critical juncture, with immense potential to transform its economic landscape through the power of insurance with a rapidly growing population, diverse economies, and increasing financial challenges, there is an urgent need for innovative solutions that expand access to insurance across the continent. Hence, this conference represents a great opportunity for all stakeholders to come together to explore how we can foster greater financial inclusion and create more accessible, affordable, and effective insurance models for all, which will be reflected in bridging the gap in insurance access and create a more inclusive future for all Africans. During the conference we will explore innovative solutions, discuss regulatory frameworks, and highlight success stories that can inspire and guide our efforts.
